I stayed in Neil's Harbour, Cape Breton in 2003 after a fraught year producing a book for the local Heritage Centre. (Westray, Orkney, UK). Three wonderful weeks just relaxing and sketching, so thanks for your post, it reminded me of then. I've taken to using the iPad for some illustrations and I have enjoyed reading this post and look forward to reading the next ones.
