It was super cool that you took a film camera on your trip. The Canon A-1 is a great camera and has a very distinctive shutter sound. The Canon AE-1 was the camera I used in high school for the yearbook staff before I bought my own camera.
Totally with you, I once barfed off the side of the boat on what was supposed to be the trip of a lifetime to go scuba diving at the Great Barrier Reef… Still shaking with nausea, I donned a wetsuit (felt obliged, I guess?) and found out that being IN the waves was just as bad if not worse than being on the boat… Thankfully my nausea subsided when underwater— it’s not choppy once you’re away from the surface! Maybe you should try diving?! ;-D
If you barf while snorkeling, the fishies like the snacks.
