Getting to where I am

A good chunk of my cartooning has revolved around my experiences being a lawyer, and I figured, why not make this into a book? So, this whole year, I’ve been chipping away at writing a graphic memoir. In reality, this has meant: reading memoirs, taking writing courses, reading and annotating over a decade’s worth of diaries and blog entries, archiving and categorizing all my instagram comics, trying to tease some kind of storyline out of all of this, battling immense self-loathing.
